Neuro affirming
Lived experience
What makes our courses neuro-affirming?
Neuro-affirming means that we understand ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and other neurodivergence to be natural differences in human development. We do not treat neurodivergent people as though they have 'disorders', 'deficiencies' or 'conditions' that require 'treatment' or 'management'.
Neurodivergent team
We are an AuDHD led company and a majority of our current team members - 90% - are neurodivergent - ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD, PDA, dyslexic, etc.
Social Model of Disability
We view support needs through the social model of disability, rather than the medical model of disability and work to dismantle barriers to inclusion.
Our vision
That society will start accommodating neurodivergent needs, rather than forcing ND people to accommodate the expectations and preferences of others.
